This is in the form of a gift book, one which you give to people with whom you are acquainted and think are nice, but don't really know all that well or care about all that much.
Actually, that sounds too cynical, and this really sweet book deserves better than that line - even though it is my opinion of the truth. And in all honesty, this book contains a nice surprise . . .
should I spoil it for you? The majority of you won't like it . . .
but I will. Basically, the book invites you to fulfill your dreams - to rech the hghiest goals - to GO FOR IT. And in that aspect it is like every other slightly new-agey, self-help, motivational feelgood book, only this one goes a step further and
lets you know that the way there is through Jesus Christ.
I told you, some of you wouldn't like the idea, and some of you would be torqued if you read it.
There are contemporary cultural reasons for resistance to the true meaning of Jesus Christ, which are too long to delve into here - because I'm just telling you what the book is about.
And it's a very nice book. A good read, with lots of great photos, and a supernatural motivational message.
It's one of those gift books that you will get for someone even though you yourself haven't read it - and what you will be doing is getting them a better present that what you gave yourself.
